Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or a closely related engineering field, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework. A strong foundation in subjects like kinematics, dynamics, system dynamics and control, and proficiency in programming (e.g., MATLAB) is expected. While the GRE is not mandatory, submitting scores is recommended to strengthen the application.
