Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any field—degrees in engineering, business, or analytics are often preferred. While BU does not publish a GPA cutoff, competitive applicants typically have a GPA of 3.0 or above out of 4.0. Admissions are holistic, considering academic performance, experience, and essay strength.
