Admission to California Institute of Technology is selective and competitive and is based on a holistic review of application materials. To be admitted to graduate standing, an applicant must in general have received a bachelor's degree representing the completion of an undergraduate course in science or engineering equivalent to one of the options offered by the Institute. Caltech does not have a minimum GPA requirement. However, most successful applicants have a US GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Notes: The GRE tests (general and advanced subject) are not required
