GPA requirement: A minimum 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (equivalent to roughly a “B‑” average) in your bachelor’s degree or in the last 60 semester units. Relevant undergraduate background: A B.S. in Engineering or other technical field is preferred. Applicants holding degrees in non‑technical fields but with technical work experience should contact the department to discuss possible prerequisite coursework.
