GPA: Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0; competitive applicants usually above this threshold.
Undergrad background: Preferably B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering. Degrees in Chemistry, Physics, or related fields also welcomed — some bridge courses may be required.
Prerequisites: Core coursework in general, analytical, physical chemistry; biochemistry & inorganic chemistry; associated labs; plus, research experience is highly valued.
