Bachelor’s Degree: A four-year bachelor’s degree (e.g., BArch or BEng-Arch) from a recognized university is required, ideally in architecture or a related field. Otherwise, applicants may need to have completed Dalhousie’s BEDS (pre-professional) equivalency.
GPA Requirement: A minimum GPA equivalent to a B average (about 3.0/4.0) in the last 60 credit hours is expected.
Design Portfolio: Applicants must submit a digital portfolio (single PDF, ≤ 20 MB) illustrating advanced design work—architecture, drawing, models, construction, etc.
Supervisor Requirement: The program includes a design thesis supervised by a faculty member. Applicants do not need to secure a supervisor before applying.
