Applicants need a Level 8 primary honours degree (Ireland) with at least Second Class Honours, Grade 2 (H2.2), i.e. approx 60–69%, in one of the following: Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or other engineering disciplines.
Equivalent Indian GPA: around 5.5–6.0 out of 10, or ~60% or above from recognized universities.
Relevant bachelor’s backgrounds: B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science/Engineering, Instrumentation, or Applied Physics with strong maths/technical core.
Subject prerequisites: strong foundation in mathematics (calculus, signals), digital or embedded systems, programming or electronics fundamentals—reflecting engineering/ICT exposure. Students lacking H2.2 may be eligible for Masters Qualifier entry—a 1‑year bridging programme (Level 8 or Level 7 + 3 years work experience) followed by transfer to MSc upon performance.
Specific module preparation recommended: familiarity with Python, C/C++ for embedded systems, real‑time systems, DSP or data analysis
