A bachelor’s degree equivalent to an Honours B.Sc. (2.1 grade or higher) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science.
You must have scored at least 50% in core quantitative modules such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Quantitative Methods during your undergraduate degree.
Applicants with relevant professional qualifications and/or work experience may also be considered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)—a cover letter is required.
GPA guidance: a UK or Irish 2.1 honours corresponds roughly to 60–65% or CGPA ~6.0–6.5/10 (or around 3.0–3.3 / 4.0 GPA) for Indian grads.
From Indian context: if you’ve done B.Tech (Maths/Engineering), B.Sc. (Maths/Stats/Economics), or B.E. with strong quantitative modules, you qualify—provided you meet the 50% threshold in key subjects.
If any subject modules from your degree don’t clearly show grades in those key areas, highlight them in your SOP and transcript submission.
