A Second Class Honours Grade 1 (H2.1) undergrad degree (NFQ Level 8), or international equivalent, in any discipline — but you need strong quantitative skills. Suitable background fields include Business, Social Sciences, Engineering, Computing, Maths, Statistics, or Physical Sciences. If you have a 2.2 Honours degree, admission is still possible based on seat availability and strong performance in relevant undergrad modules. Alternative route (RPL): If you don’t meet the academic requirement but have at least 3 years of professional experience, DCU may still consider your application using Recognised Prior Learning.
