To be eligible for the MS in Artificial Intelligence at Kent State University, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0. A strong foundation in mathematics is essential, including proficiency in algebra, geometry, and calculus (equivalent to Kent State courses MATH 12002, 12003, and 21001). Starting Spring 2026, a minimum grade of B in these math courses will be required.
