A four-year B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) is preferred. Exceptional candidates with a strong undergraduate background may also qualify. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required, though 3.3/4.0 or higher is recommended. Applicants with lower GPAs may be admitted provisionally and asked to complete nine graduate credits before full admission.
