Bachelor’s Degree Background:
A recognized four- or five-year undergraduate degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, Architectural Science, Environmental Design (Architecture Option), or equivalent. If applicants have a University of Manitoba Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture Option), they need a minimum of C+ in EVAR 4002, 4004, 4008, and 4010, and a GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years (60 credit hours). Alternatives: Applicants with non-design or design-related degrees (e.g., Engineering, Fine Arts, Geography, Commerce, etc.) may apply through the Architecture Master Preparation Option (ED AMP) program—1- or 2-year preparation track, then must re-apply to M.Arch.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 (equivalent to B or equivalent) in the last two full years (60 credit hours) of study.
