Applicants to the MIT Sloan Master of Finance (MFin) program must hold a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year international equivalent by the time of enrollment. Students from finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or other quantitative backgrounds are encouraged to apply. A strong foundation in math and analytical skills is essential, and while there is no specified GPA cutoff, a GPA equivalent to 3.5 out of 4.0 is typically expected.
