Applicants must hold at least a 2.2 grade honours (NFQ Level 8) degree, which in Indian terms is equivalent to ~55–60% or ~3.0–3.2 CGPA. Eligible bachelor’s backgrounds include degrees with quantitative techniques, e.g. Business Studies, Management Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related. Applicants should have taken modules involving statistical analysis or quantitative methods. Applicants with 3+ years’ quantitative work experience and a 2.2 degree (whether quantitative or not) may be considered. In exceptional cases, 10+ years’ relevant experience (with ≥3 years in quantitative roles) can be evaluated via Maynooth’s Recognition of Prior Learning path.
