You must hold a pre-professional Bachelor’s in Architecture (e.g. B.Sc. Arch.) or its equivalent — for example, a 4-year Bachelor’s in Architecture from India, or a 3-year degree from a NAAC “A”-rated institution, possibly with an additional qualifying year. McGill evaluates these on a case-by-case basis. A minimum GPA of around 3.0 / 4.0 (≈ 75 %) is required to be eligible for direct admission. Applicants with degrees in non-architecture fields (e.g. engineering, design) usually must apply to McGill’s B.Sc. (Arch) instead.
50% previous design studio work, 25% other course projects, and up to 25% professional work, all properly annotated with your role, project context, course/instructor details.
