Bachelor’s degree required in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field, from a recognized institution.
Undergraduate GPA: No strict cutoff, but a minimum 3.0/4.0 (strong academic record in the final two years) is realistic for competitive admission.
Subject prerequisites (for those without a Chemical Engineering degree): CHE 432 – Process Systems Control, CHE 433 – Process Design & Optimization I, ChemE Thermodynamics & Kinetics (CHE 804), Transport & Separation Processes (CHE 805), Equivalent foundational courses at the undergrad level are acceptable.
