A 4‑year bachelor's degree in a quantitative background (e.g. engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, statistics, or related) is required.
Must demonstrate strong quantitative preparation, either through coursework or relevant work/internship experience (calculus, linear algebra, statistics, programming).
Indian students should convert their CGPA to a 4.0 scale. Though MSU doesn’t specify a strict minimum GPA, a GPA around 3.0 out of 4.0 (i.e. “B” average) or higher is considered solid.
