Eligibility: Bachelor’s in Materials Science, Engineering, or related science. If your background isn't in MSE, additional foundational courses may be required (they do not count toward the 30 credits).
GPA: Minimum ~3.0/4.0 (≈ 75–80%), though a 3.5+ GPA is recommended for competitive selection.
Prerequisites: Core bachelor’s coursework in materials, engineering, physics, and mathematics. Non-MSE grads may need to complete extra “collateral” classes.
