Normally, a student accepted by Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is expected to have met the requirements for a bachelor's degree in engineering or science. It is not necessary that the degree is in Aeronautical or Mechanical engineering. Qualified and interested students with degrees in Mathematics, Materials, Physics, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical engineering are also encouraged to apply. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required.
