Admission to Rice University is selective and competitive and is based on a holistic review of application materials. B.S. or B.A. degree in a quantitative field from an accredited institution (Minimum GPA 3.0)
In general, applicants must have at least a 3.0(B) grade point average in their undergraduate work.
Transcripts should be official and in confidential, signed-across-the-seal envelopes provided to you by the registrar of each institution, undergraduate and graduate, which you have attended. If your school will not provide you directly with an official copy of your transcript, then ask them to send it to the department.
You may also wish to send an unofficial copy, for the application process. Once admitted, the original must be sent.
Note : GRE is strongly recommended but not required for Fall 24 applications
