Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or closely related (Environmental, Mechanical, Structural, etc.).
If coming from a different engineering background, you need pre-requisite undergraduate courses such as Mechanics of Solids, Fluid Mechanics, Soil Mechanics, and depending on specialization, others like Water/Wastewater Engineering or Structural Analysis – typically grades B or higher are required.
Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 is required; competitive applicants have around 3.5+, especially doctoral hopefuls.
