A bachelor’s degree in science‑related fields such as pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or engineering. Other backgrounds with strong coursework in science are also considered.
Minimum GPA: No fixed cutoff published, but applicants should present a comparable performance on a 4.0‑scale (e.g. a GPA of 3.0+ is preferable).
Prerequisite coursework: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Calculus—preferably with grades of B or better (₹≥ 3.0 GPA).
