A four‑year B.E./B.Tech or B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) is required. Applicants with degrees from non‑ABET programs may be considered case-by-case and may need remedial courses. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75/4.0 in engineering, math, and physical science courses. Most admitted students have ≥ 3.0, and assistantship applicants typically have ≥ 3.3.
