No specific GPA is mentioned, Applicants are to have a strong applied math background in preparation for the core courses of the program. The courses we recommend are advanced undergraduate-level linear algebra, probabilities, introductory PDEs, stochastics, and proficiency in programming. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or four-year bachelor's degree. Note: A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at Stanford. The two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree from India is required.
