Bachelor’s background & GPA (out of 4.0)
Requires a relevant bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
A solid GPA is expected; aim for ≥ 3.0/4.0 to strengthen the application.
Subject prerequisites : Core coursework in Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Mechanics.
Strong foundation in Engineering Mathematics: Calculus I–III & Differential Equations.
Prior exposure to Heat Transfer or Materials Science beneficial.
Proficiency in engineering analysis/measurement tools and MATLAB/C++/Python programming aids success.
Experience with construction of mechanical systems or capstone projects is useful.
Background in design principles and CAD software (SolidWorks, ANSYS) is preferred.
