Degree requirement: A Bachelor’s honours degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another numerate discipline with computing content.
GPA classification: Generally Upper Second Class Honours (2.1) is required (roughly around 65–70 % or ~3.3/4.0). Candidates with Lower Second Class Honours (2.2) may be considered if they have ≥ 2 years relevant software development or analytics work experience. Relevant backgrounds: Indian students with degrees in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Science are all eligible.
Subject prerequisites: At least strong numeracy and programming ability, such as coursework or projects in programming, databases, probability/statistics, data mining or software development.
Applicants without a computing degree but from a strong numerate background (e.g. business or science) may apply under the conversion pathway, which includes preparatory modules.
