GPA expectation: A solid academic record—typically 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, though no strict cut-off is given. Indian CGPA converts easily (e.g. 7.5/10 ≈ 3.0/4.0).
Prerequisites: Strong grounding in data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, digital systems, and signals & systems is expected; if not covered during undergrad, you may need to take leveling courses.
