Admission to The University of Chicago is selective and competitive and is based on a holistic review of application materials. International applicants must have a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year American baccalaureate degree. In light of the Bologna Accord, Chicago Booth also accepts candidates with three-year international degrees. To document your degree, you will need to submit official academic records or a scanned transcript.
Note: You also need to submit your scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). Our MBA requirements do not require a minimum GMAT or GRE score for any applicant to be considered for admission. We also accept the GMAT Focus Edition and shortened GRE. If you are a University of Chicago current student or graduate, you may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver if you have a cumulative 3.4 or above GPA.
