A Level 8 honours bachelor’s degree (NFQ) with at least Second Class Honours (Grade II, 2.2 or 2.1) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or closely related sciences/technology such as biochemistry, food science, pharmaceutical analysis etc. Indian equivalent: approximately 60–65% (2.1) or 55–59% (2.2); on CGPA scales: 3.3–3.5/4.0 or 2.7–3.2/4.0.
