Applicants need at least a Second Class Honours Grade II (NFQ Level 8), roughly equivalent to 50–59% in Indian grading, or about 2.5–2.9 CGPA on a 4.0 scale.
Acceptable bachelor’s backgrounds include Arts, Social Science, Geography, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields with foundational knowledge relevant to planning.
Exceptionally, applicants without honours degrees but with strong professional work experience may apply under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) subject to approval.
