Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with a minimum Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) or international equivalent in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering. Indian equivalent: around 75–80 % marks, CGPA ≈ 7.5–8.0 on a 10‑point scale. Prerequisite subjects: mathematics, signal & systems, electromagnetics. GPA requirement (for UCD degree holders): min. 2.80 GPA weighted across senior years.
