Degree requirement: A recognised bachelor’s degree with Second Class Honours, Grade One (2:1) or equivalent in a relevant discipline (health sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, social sciences, etc.).
GPA equivalent: Indian applicants should ideally have at least 60–65% (first class or high second class) in their bachelor's, aligned to a UK/Ireland 2:1 equivalence.
Prerequisite backgrounds: Suitable degrees include health sciences, medicine, public health, life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, sociology, psychology, nutrition, environmental health, or similar fields. Preference is given to applicants with relevant academic content in epidemiology, statistics, health policy or community health.
Mathematical/statistical evidence: Applicants must show proof of quantitative study (e.g. biostatistics, epidemiology, maths or related modules) during prior study.
