Relevant Bachelor’s Background: B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering or allied fields (e.g., Biochemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemistry, Materials, etc.).
GPA Requirement: Campus-wide minimum GPA is 3.0/4.0; however, competitive applicants typically have ≥ 3.3/4.0.
Course & Academic Prerequisites: Strong foundation in core chemical engineering: transport phenomena, reaction kinetics, thermodynamics.
Adequate background in mathematics, chemistry, and physics.
If lacking a Chemical Engineering undergrad, you'll need 3–5 extra prep courses: MATH 3A, 3D; CBE 40B/C; CBE 110; CBE 161; CBE 120A
