Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field—such as biology, biotechnology, computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline. Students from biomedical backgrounds with coding or data science exposure are also welcome.
GPA requirement: A strong record—typically 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Course prerequisites: Courses in molecular biology/genetics, programming, statistics, mathematics, plus any additional foundation in bioinformatics are expected.
