Bachelor’s background: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or related engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, etc.)
Undergrad GPA: Minimum 3.0/4.0 (equivalent to ~75–80% Indian)
Preparatory coursework (completed in undergrad; not counted in 9-course MS requirements): mathematics (multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equations), physics, chemistry (for materials/env.), plus discipline-specific courses like statics (CEE 135A/B), fluid mechanics, geotech, materials, etc.
