Bachelor’s background: Preferred in STEM (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, biological or health sciences). A degree in any quantitative discipline is acceptable.
GPA: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required for admission. Departments may consider marginally lower GPA via Dean’s Special Action if other parts of the application are strong.
Prerequisite subjects: Strong foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, calculus), statistics, probability, programming (e.g. R, Python), data analytics courses.
