To be eligible for the Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Florida, applicants should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0. Completion of specific prerequisite courses is required, including Calculus (MAC 2311 & MAC 2312), Statistics (STA 2023 or STA 3032), Introduction to Computer Science (COP 3504 or COP 3502 & COP 3503), Applied Discrete Structures (COT 3100), Introduction to Computer Organization (CDA 3101), Data Structures and Algorithms (COP 3530), and Operating Systems (COP 4600).
