You need a minimum 2:1 honours bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8 or international equivalent ≈ around 65% or GPA ~3.3/4.0) in Business or Commerce with a strong accounting focus. Eligible degrees include B.Com, BBA, BMS, etc. You must have full or nearly full exemptions from the CAP1 professional exams of Chartered Accountants Ireland. If your bachelor’s didn’t specialise in accounting, you may instead consider the “International Accounting & Analytics” MSc (Pathway A), a 10‑11 month pathway tailored for general commerce graduates.
