A bachelor’s degree (4‑ or 5‑year) in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a related engineering field (mechanical, aerospace, industrial engineering, applied mechanics) or a BSc in mathematics or physics is required. Some students may need to complete deficiency coursework (e.g. statics, strength of materials, soil mechanics, structural analysis, concrete/steel design) before starting core MS coursework.
Minimum 2.75 / 4.0 GPA based on the last 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of undergraduate study. Stronger academic records get preference.
