Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering or related STEM fields (Civil, Environmental, Structural, etc.).
Minimum GPA: Overall: ≥3.00/4.00 (Graduate College baseline.
Some departments expect ≥3.25/4.00 in the last 2 years.
Applicants should have solid background in:
Civil/Structural/Environmental Engineering fundamentals
Core math (Calculus, Differential Equations)
Mechanics and environmental systems
Courses should be equivalent to UIUC undergraduate engineering prerequisites
