You must hold a Level 8 honours bachelor’s degree (NFQ) or equivalent, with a minimum classification of 2.1 (second-class honours, grade 1) — approximately equivalent to ~60–69% or a CGPA of ~3.0/4.0 or ~7/10. Graduates from any discipline—including medicine, pharmacy, nursing, psychology, engineering, social sciences, economics, business, environmental sciences, law, statistics, etc.—are welcome to apply provided your background is relevant or appropriate for public health.
Lower second-class degree (2.2) or equivalent may be considered only if you have a minimum of five years of relevant public health or healthcare work experience.
