To be eligible for admission to the M.Eng. in Robotics Engineering (PMRO) at the University of Maryland, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physical sciences, mathematics, or a related STEM field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (equivalent to around 7.5/10 in Indian grading systems). Applicants are expected to have completed coursework in Calculus I & II, Differential Equations, and either Linear Algebra or Calculus III, as well as at least one programming course in C++, Java, or Python that covers data structures. For students without an engineering background, prior knowledge of mechanics and basic circuits is recommended.
