Admission to University of Michigan is selective and competitive and is based on a holistic review of application materials.
Bachelor’s Degree:
Accepted backgrounds include STEM, Business, Economics, or other quantitatively rigorous fields.
➤ Indian students with a 3-year bachelor's degree are eligible if the degree is deemed equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
Minimum GPA:
A cumulative GPA of 3.30 out of 4.0 or higher may qualify for a GRE/GMAT waiver.
Quantitative/Programming Prerequisite:
Applicants must have completed at least one college-level programming course, such as Python, Java, or data structures.

WES Evaluation (Required):
All international transcripts must be submitted through WES Course-by-Course Evaluation (ICAP).
➤ Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate may be accepted in lieu of TOEFL/IELTS if your entire degree was taught in English.
