Applicants need a four‑year bachelor’s degree in electrical & computer engineering, or a closely related subject such as electronics, computer science, mathematics or physics. Related backgrounds may require additional preparatory coursework before or at enrolment.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required. Exceptional candidates or UNC Charlotte early entry students (GPA ≥ 3.25) may get GRE waived.
