To be eligible for the MS in Computer Science at UNC Charlotte, applicants should have:
A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, with a similar GPA in junior/senior years.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred; however, related fields are considered if applicants have completed coursework in programming languages, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, calculus, discrete mathematics, and linear algebra.
Applicants lacking formal coursework may demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional experience, subject to review.
