Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical/quantitative field, such as math, physics, or scientific engineering. Business degrees may be considered if prerequisites are met (e.g., calculus, statistics, engineering economics). A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is required. Applicants with a GPA ≥ 3.2 and ≥ 75 credits in engineering at UNC Charlotte may be eligible for early-entry admission.
