GPA: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 in key subjects: biology, chemistry, math, biochemistry, molecular biology, or immunology.
Undergraduate background: Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related science field.
Prerequisite coursework: College biology (with or without microbiology), Chemistry, including organic chemistry (with lab) and biochemistry, Algebra (at least college-level).
Research experience: Relevant lab work in biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology preferred.
