Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related engineering or technology discipline—typically in fields such as manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical systems, or comparable technical backgrounds. It is a requirement that the bachelor's degree be in engineering and relevant to the applicant's proposed major, with no more than 25 per cent of subjects failed.
