Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (e.g., computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, statistics, social sciences with quantitative work).
Minimum GPA of 3.00 / 4.0—specifically over the last 60 credits or your final two years. UW considers GPA 3.0 as the baseline for strong candidates.
Depending on your background, you may need foundational coursework or experience in programming, data handling, statistics, system design or database fundamentals—especially if your bachelor’s is in a non‑technical discipline (the MS Information curriculum is 30 credits, including core, ethics, internship courses).
