Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; degrees in Computer Science or Data Science are preferred, but students from any academic background can apply.
Minimum GPA: 3.0 out of 4.0 based on last 60 semester credits; courses must be graded B‑ (≈2.7) or higher.
Prerequisites: Strong programming skills (especially Python), Completed coursework in data structures & algorithms (e.g. equivalent to CS 2420) with grade B‑ or above
Calculus and statistics background sufficient for graduate-level data science.
Research/Faculty match component: Submit interest area and preferred faculty advisor; contacting a potential adviser before applying is strongly recommended.
